        How Table Performance is Calculated

        Individual Facts

        Each times table has 11 facts (e.g., 7×2, 7×3, ... 7×12). Each fact needs at least 3 attempts before it shows a colour:

        Strong (Green) 80%+ accuracy
        Developing (Orange) 60-79% accuracy
        Struggling (Red) Below 60% accuracy
        No Data (Grey) Fewer than 3 attempts

        Table Colour (e.g., "7× Table")

        • Green (Secure): ≥80% of facts are green AND zero red facts
        • Orange (Developing): Everything in between
        • Red (Struggling): ≥30% red facts OR <50% green facts

        Needs at least 8 facts with data to show a colour.

        Examples

        • 6 Green → Green (100% green, 0 red)
        • 5 Green, 1 Orange → Green (83% green, 0 red)
        • 4 Green, 2 Orange → Orange (67% green)
        • 4 Green, 1 Orange, 1 Red → Orange (has red)
        • 2 Green, 2 Orange, 2 Red → Red (33% red)

        Important Notes

        • Only the last 10 attempts per fact are counted
        • Test, Practice, and MTC modes track stats separately
        • A child with one weak fact in a table will lose marks in the MTC
